Concrete Construction and WireTracks

Concrete construction is extremely durable and is commonly used in commercial applications and residential applications where hurricanes or termites are prevalent.

Although this is an excellent construction method, it can be difficult to pre-wire concrete buildings and it is very difficult to add wiring after the building is complete.

To solve this problem, install WireTracks NC throughout a concrete home during construction. The following graphic shows a profile of a concrete wall with WireTracks.

In this example, WireTracks is installed below the wallboard and new wiring can be run from the attic, through the conduit, and into the WireTracks channel. Once in the channel, the wiring can be routed to any location within the building, as long as there are connected walls between the two locations.
