The original WireTracks wiring channels are designed to be installed in both new and remodeling applications, but are primarily used for remodeling. They can be used for simple jobs such as getting wiring from the front of a home theater to the back. Or, they can be installed throughout a building to give building owners the ability to run wiring between any two points that are linked by connected walls.

WireTracks is a wiring channel system that you install behind your baseboard molding. WireTracks consists of a wiring channel that is installed in plane with your drywall and a wiring channel cover. After you attach standard baseboard molding to the wiring channel cover, they become an integrated unit. When you want to add new wiring, simply remove the cover, install the wire, and replace the cover. Adding new wiring has never been easier.

The following illustrations show the profile of the original WireTracks product.

The following photograph shows a completed WireTracks installation. The baseboard can be removed at any time to add new wiring.

WireTracks wiring channels can be connected to standard 1" electrical conduit systems, such as Carlon's Resi-Gard system. For more information, visit the WireTracks Conduit Connector page.
